1st UMC Lockport is very active in mission outreach. Below are some of the local activities our members participate in.

Coins for Missions

On the 4th Sunday of every month a special “Coins for Mission” offering is collected. Members are encouraged to save their change and make a “joyful noise” as they drop them into the coin buckets. The monies go towards fulfilling our Rainbow Covenant Giving commitment

Rainbow Covenant

Lockport First is proud to be a Rainbow Covenant Church. Rainbow Covenant seeks to help churches develop an intentional approach to funding mission.  Churches  are encouraged to travel the road to the rainbow, and remember that each mile means service with more of god's people.  Each color of the rainbow represents a different aspect of the mission;
