Circle of Love On August 5, 2002 1st United Methodist introduced a new ministry to the Lockport Community - Circle of Love, which provides diapers, feminine and incontinence products to those who use the local food pantry. These products are not available through the pantry and cannot be purchased with food stamps. This ministry was the dream of a long time member, who while working at the local FISH Food Pantry became aware of the number of people with babies coming in with little or no money to buy diapers. After several months of praying, she approached the church council with her idea and received their blessing. Today Circle of Love serves over 60 families a month. |
